| Lucky Patriots Boy!!! If ever there was divine intervention last night in the Patriots-Ravens game, or the officials were making phantom calls that preserved New England's unbeaten record. I could not blame the Raven's #57 for losing his head when he got flagged twice: one for unsportsmanlike conduct, and the latter for throwing the marker into the stands. The Ravens were fighting both the Pats and the officials in the waning moments of the game. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105 | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Oh My God!!!! I don't even want to talk about it.... Not to mention the 4th down play where they had stopped them but some dumas called time. And how do you let the quartback scramble for that many yards during what is supposed to be a blitz? Just DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!! This is my new signature. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| That's no big deal. If I were in a position in a game like that to effect someone like that, I'd see using it to my teams advantage. It's not like they are gonna take the win away. It was #57's responsibility to rise above. THEY HAD EM!!!! It was a shame. This is my new signature. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I agree with FX. But to me, the Ravens beat themselves by not going for a field goal earlier (when Boller threw the interception) that would have made New England's last drive irrelevant. FX; that "dumb a--" to which you referred to was the defensive coordinator, Rex Ryan (son of the infamous Buddy Ryan). That was a foolish call of the best definition of the phrase. I'd like to see what the Baltimore sports pages had to say about that? But the Ravens did expose a chink in New England's armor. It's obvious that to beat them; an opposing team must keep pressure on Brady. Blitzing will have to be a major part of this. And no three-man defensive fronts! Brady practically had time to have a cup of coffee and a doughnut, write a letter to his mother, and go change dinner reservations with all the time he was given on a silver platter! If somebody is to defeat the Pats, I would say that out of their remaning games; I think Pittsburgh has the best chance. | |||||||||||||||||||||
