I understand both your viewpoint and that of Grace. It is the same way people vote in political elections, we all have our reasons for which "party" we support and which candidates we cheer on, vote for, and have affection for.

I go with The Giants today. Why? Solely cos I do not take any shine whatsoever to the arrogance of one, Randy Moss.

Well the apartment is clean and I am soon going to have company.

Will be thinking of so many here watching the game too. Wouldn't it be so much fun to all get together in person during next year's Superbowl? The one when The Packers do play. Brett's last year.

Well, the Giants did it! They gave young Eli the perfect, simple game plan to follow; and he came up with his own heroics in evading a sack on their last drive -without which the Pats would have won; but never covered such an inflated spread. I suppose I ought to be happier; but I missed on half my playoff picks this year and my ego doesn't take losing so well.

I'm speechless... I think Brady should have thrown short passes most of the game and they probably would have won it. There was far too much pressure on Brady tonight and too many horrible throws..

Errr Not happy!

I am! I won't have to hear my ex gloat this week about her Patriots and Tom Brady. What I can't understand iswhy the other NFL teams couldn't figure out the simple fact that if you put a little pressure on Brady, he is the same as the other quarterbacks!

So, it all boils down to: do you think the Giants can (and must) do what it takes to win the game- or are the Pats so strong that they will deflect this last team in their quest for the ultimate prize, and a place in football history for having the perfect record?

Dont be sorry to me Mr point spread.

Hu?? All they had was the short pass. We took out the run, and we took out the deep threat. The pass rush was just to much for them to overcome. :mrg reen:

That point spread was ridiculous. The fact that the Giants almost won against New England should have kept the spread at no more than seven points. But I'm still happy the Giants won. I made a few pennies betting that they would cover that spread. I admit I thought the Pats would win by four points; and it was definitely heading in that direction, but the Giants pulled off the upset.
I am also happy that young Eli will get a lot more respect -as he well deserves- around the NFL.

Thanks nutty. Words cant describe how I feel today. I thought the game would go similar to our last game against them. I cant give enough credit to our defense. To hold the unstopable Pats Offense to just 14, was beyond incredible. Then for Eli and company to march down the field and take there last shot 80 yards and a TD, like I said, words cant describe it. Wade Philips can kiss my ass. Better team lost??? F him.
