The local sports humor editor agrees with you. He feels that it should be sudden death instead of another round to be played in an hour. But maybe the rules for major tournaments like the US Open is a full day instead of a sudden-death playoff.

I don't know what the rules are for The Masters, British Open, and the PGA Championship.

You are probably right, Rider. They would have to go into sudden death if El Tigre and Mediate are still tied. Boy, Tiger is going to be hurting some more after today, but he is a gamer. I guess that's why he is called "Tiger".

An 18 hole "playoff" seems a bit much to me. They should have just played one more yesterday.
