I was using the tips and everything was going very well (chip leader). I should have sat on the stack a bit more than I did and wait for the blinds to go up but I ran into a couple monster hands and ending up going out first

I won last week though, so fair is fair. The one person that had never won before took it home so that was exciting for the whole group. It is so much fun to play and smoke some pot with friends that it always feels like a win regardless

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Baseball is now a business, no longer just a sport. Same with football, especially the NFL. Why are those players like Pacman Jones keep running afoul with the law or getting suspended. They can't seem to stay out of trouble.

I plan to go to Boston next month and watch a few games at Fenway Park. When the players' salaries are about as high as the stratosphere, believe when I tell you that the lowest price for a face value ticket at Fenway Park is $18.00, compared to just $5.00 at Petco Park in San Diego.

So I suppose it means that the fewer number of seats, the higher prices of tickets there are. We know that Fenway Park seats over 35,000 people. Petco Park seats about 45,000 people.

I'm tired of teams losing over a 100 games year after year and still raising ticket prices. Then they ask for funding for the stadium and threaten to leave if they don't get our money. Kansas City needs to get rid of that union busting loser, David Glass.

As for Barry Bonds.
You can't act like a jerk to the media and to fans for 20 years, take steroids then lie about knowing you took them and expect everyone to like you. When he was closing in on the record he acted humble like he wasn't thinking at all about breaking 755 and more worried about what his team was doing.

I won't give you any lecture about smoking pot- that's your own business. I agree that having a good night of poker is a win by itself.
Don't worry about not winning it all. That is part of the learning process. As I stated anyway, bad beats are going to happen. There is nothing I or anyone else can teach you to defend against them. Well, better luck next time, friend. Keep practicing, I cannot stress enough the importance of this. You will soon find yourself winning whole tournaments!

The difference between those two teams is that Boston recently won a World Series. Success will alway attract more of a fan base (I use the word "fan" with a grunt).
There is, and may only be one team in all professional sports whom can field a loser and still fill seats and raise ticket prices: the Chicago Cubs. Now, as I post this, they are locked in a day to day lead change with the Milwaukee Bewers, but the Cubs still beak over two million in attendance every year. No othe team in baseball can claim this distinction. The Cubs are actually on pace to break three million this year!

Yeah, I heard about that guy, Anti. Boy, he is the exact opposite of what Ewing Kaufmann was. I guess in the era, he never would want a George Brett, Willie Wilson, or a lot of the great Kansas City Royals that were so good in the late 1970's and most of the 1980's.

No wonder the Yankees are too much for the Royals.

I think we should trade the royals for a whole different team. Mayba a peewee league team, we would probably stand a better chance at winning.
Notice, that on little league football teams, you have just about every team in the NFL represented. In little league baseball pretty much every team in the MLB is represented EXCEPT the royals, why is that, why are they never represented?

Heh heh heh. When the Padres were going bad, one of the local sports jock was saying that the local little league team are better than the Padres.

BTW, I am listening to the Red Sox-Angels' game on mlb.com, a replay of last night's audio version of it.

Now, someone correct me if I am wrong, but they were talking about the guy who caught Barry Bonds' HR #756 ball. Even if the guy does not sell it, and even though the ball may be worth $250K, he has to pay taxes on it.

Someone tell me if this is not true.

I'm not a tax attorney, but I think that any tax due would only happen from sale of this item. Other that, it has the value of a rock. It has none, only until a profit is made from the sale- and not the thought of it.
