Like I said, if Anderson testified instead of taking the 5th amendment, Bonds might never have played this year. I never would have witnessed his HR, tying Hank Aaron's at 755.

Once the proof surfaces the * will become an X.
I must have overlooked this, Hio-my fault. What I meant that the fledling movement agaist Aaron at his time was just based upon the fact that since no Blacks played in the MLB at the time Ruth did; no Black should be recognized for breaking that mark. That was what I meant. Sorry for any miscommunication.

But the prosecution could not force his testimony, since he is also being charged with being the one who supposedly supplied and administered these stroids to Bonds.

They may not force his testimony, with or w/o a subpoena. I don't think the defense would, either. Anderson is too loyal.

Who was being held in contempt for not testifing? I know he was released yesterday.
Why was he released? Did he blab to get out or did they let him out because someone else blabbed and they don't need his testimoney now?

Greg Anderson was held in contempt for refusing to testify, so he spent a lot of time in the pokey. He was released on orders by a judge after the indictments were handed out. Whether he will testify at trial remains to be seen.

You got that right! We all know the American public could care less if Anderson is in jail or not. He only has value for what he could offerup on Bonds; and nothing more.
