Buffalo Sabres Make The Eastern Conference Finals!
Hockey is basically the only sport I watch, and my local team is going to the Eastern Conference Finals! Our score is 4 wins, 1 loss so far.

I am going to be so stoked if we win the Stanley Cup, especially since our football is... Sadly lacking. Cough, Buffalo Bills, cough. Not that I watch football anyway, but whatever.

So... Does anyone else here dig hockey, and if so, who are you rooting for? My dad likes the Canadiens because he is from Montreal, but they're kind of sucking it this season... And they also did last season...

Then again, when's the last time the Sabres got anywhere? That's kind of why I'm stoked about this... The last time we even got to the Eastern Conference was 2000, and we've never actually won. It would be cool to, just once.

We lost the Stanley Cup finals in the 70's, before I was born. That's how far we've gotten.

That is awesome that your team is going places. I haven't been a huge hockey fan lately... when I was growing up I was a big fan of the NHL though. Capitals were my team.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

I've had a hard time following the NHL this year. My team, the Bruins, sucked ass. They traded Joe Thornton who is my favorite hockey player and he went on to win the scoring title for the fucking Sharks. Then they traded Samsonov too who is kickin it with the Oilers in the West Conf finals. It's also hard because I watch a lot of college hockey and its far better of a game.
But it don't take much to get me by
So just booze me up and get me high

I like the new rules. But I have only caught one or two games. I'm just not into it anymore.

Yeah I think the new rules help out. Still, if you're looking for a better essence of the game go watch two good Division 1 college teams play. It's a lot better.

Completely agreed...I can't believe they traded him.

Well... We lost. To be fair though, our goalie contracted a staph infection.

I suppose it just wasn't meant to be.

Miller did? I didn't hear about that. I just wish the Hurricanes were still the Whalers.

Psh, yeah.

He's a great goalie too. I think his contract is up next year. I hope he doesn't leave.

We should get extra points on account of blood poisoning.
