Indeed. I pitched for a lot of years and fell in love with everything about pitching. That makes the game very interesting for me as well.
But it don't take much to get me by

I grew up seeing some real greats back in the 60s as I lived only a few blocks from the Minnesota Twins stadium. I saw Ted Williams in 1961, his final season.

The Mariners swept the Angels in Aneheim. That's a close division. I don't know if the teams are that good or that bad. I guess we'll find out during interleague. Barry Bonds is coming to Seattle. I wouldn't spend a dime on him.

Barry is a joke. The guy won 3 MVPs then decided to go ruin his name and bring a shitload of controversy and Congress into baseball. He is also racist. He earns the "biggest asshole" in baseball title, a lot of people stretch that to "sports". After another unsuccessful night at trying to break Ruth's record, he dismissed reporters at his locker saying "I'm not in the news tonight, brother." Sorry Barry, but you are, because you took steroids and HGH and all that other shit so you could pass Babe Ruth, the greatest baseball player of all time and an American icon. Barry Bonds did it for Barry Bonds, no one should ever forget that.
