I heard that English fans got into a huge fight today and they did not even have a game. haha.
When the president talks to God
Do they drink near beer and go play golf
While they pick which countries to invade
Which Muslim souls still can be saved?
I guess god just calls a spade a spade
When the president talks to God

I found it funny that the US team kept saying they're highly underrated; I wish that were true but their performance this year just puts any chance of that to rest.

As for me I'm wanting Germany to win. I'm American but much of my family is German. So yeah. So far they're winning their games but their performance isn't all that great. The Germany v. Poland match was pretty sad if you ask me.

You'd be a fool to think they lost simply because of bad calls, but they got bad calls. I started wondering before and during the Italy game if there was going to be a referee getting political and making political statements by being an asshole to the U.S. players. Thankfully, I guess, everybody was saying that ref from the Italy game is notorious for making terrible calls, and this is not the first time its happened. I was thinking, well why the hell was he there? But whatever. I don't think they were agressive enough. I was really disappointed that the U.S. coach Bruce Arena did not shake the Ghana coach's hand after the match. I thought that was pretty low.

Writing off Germany?

I think Germany will beat Argentina. Italy over Ukraine, Portugal over England.

So I would have Brazil, Germany, Portugal, and Italy in the final four.

Germany over Italy, Portugal over Brazil.

Portugal-Germany final...I have no idea.

Woot! It is official, Germany is going to the semi-finals!

I am changing my avatar for this occasion. Italy will be a tough opponent but I believe Germany can carry it to the finals.

Are we allowed to put images in our signatures?

Ahh, we discounted Le France.
The two games on Saturday were awesome. Awesome. Nothing else to say.

My little prediction is holding up, Portugal beat England in Penalty Kicks. Germany did the same thing to Argentina. France played an exceptional game and shut down the Brazil powerhouse. Italy beat Ukraine no surprises there I think.

Germany-Italy should be a great game, still I think it's gonna be Germany. They are playing very well, home team yadda yadda.

Portugal-France might be even better with the way France shut down Brazil and Portugal really battling England. I take Portugal still. They are such a solid team. France was able to shut down the potent Brazil offense but managed only a goal on a defense called "sketchy" by some soccer analysts. Portugal has a better D and it seems a more team oriented attack. Plus Ricardo..the goal, did you see him in the PKs vs. England? Got a hand on four shots, saved three of them. That was incredible.

Noooooo! How could they have possibly lost to the Italians?

I shall retract my avatar in shame.

How ridiculous was that penalty kick for France, if I were a french supporter I would be very ashamed of my team for advancing on the horrible call by the same referee who screwed up the Italy - USA game.
