Nothing like this. But I don't think that should matter at all. If you jump somebody on the street and break their neck is the judge gonna say, "One more time and you're in prison"? I don't think so. He should have received 3 years in jail, but didn't because he's a million dollar pro athlete. So he got fined, got probabtion and community service. Justice served anyone? Steve Moore might not be able to ever play hockey again. Why should Todd Bertuzzi?

If I'm going to compromise here, I say Bertuzzi stays out until Moore comes back and if Moore doesn't, Bertuzzi doesn't.
But it don't take much to get me by
So just booze me up and get me high

I hear ya man. I think the guy is an asshole, but from viewing the replay I really don't think he intended to break his neck. But his behavior should not be tolerated. You are right.

I'm sure he didn't intend to, but he did. There's no way to get around that.

I still don't understand why people think Bertuzzi should be put in jail or never allowed to play hockey again? I mean it was one punch, all be it a maliscious punch that broke a guys neck, but Steve Moore's neck was broken due to the pile of players that fell on him afterwards, many of them his own teammates. I feel Todd got what he deserved, it was harsh that he missed a lot of hockey playing time, including tournaments with team Canada. but it is great to see him on the ice again in a Canucks jersey and a team Canada jersey for the Olympics, he is a great player and i hope the Olympics spur Todd on to return to the nucks a better player for the playoffs. GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
