Should NASCAR Cease Racing?
Someone mentioned this to me earlier... Apparently NASCAR uses about 9000 Gallons of Gas in EACH Race! Do you think they Should Cease Racing while our country is going through this energy crisis?

Re: Should NASCAR Cease Racing?
Race on!

America consumes 133 billion gallons yearly. Nascar comsumes about 369,000 of those gallons. I'm sure there are many other things that could go and have a greater impact on decreasing gallons consumed in America.

But I'm still sort of on the fence on this one. I mean it is completely wasteful amidst an energy crisis.

But I love Nascar

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

For some reason I really doubt that.

That is true. It surpassed football last year in viewer numbers.
