...Life would be a whole lot better if everyone kept their freakin' nose out of others business... Too bad there aren't more people like you out there.

And to end off this post I will restate the main reason against gun control in the United states....

KANSAS CONSTITUTION BILL OF RIGHTS:
The people have the right to bear arms for their defense and security; but standing armies, in time of peace, are dangerous to liberty, and shall not be tolerated, and the military shall be in strict subordination to the civil power.

The ultimate defense to tyranny. And if you think that such things are impossible in a democratic society or must I point out Hitler again???

I think Iraq proves you gun nuts wrong. If your thinking really worked we would be loosing the war in Iraq. And I doubt you think that is happening... and they were armed to the tooth.

Our guns wouldn't do shit against an organized modern military. It worked against the red coats and since then have been a threat to our nation's saftey.

  • You must live in fantasy land . . . care to list the studies that so indicate. And don't quote some socialist imbecile like Ted Kennedy or any other politican who throws out stats to stir your emotions. There is not one study to substantiate your claim, my friend. Not one. Every locale in the United States that has fostered ownership and use of firearms as a means of protect has shown a dramatic decrease in violent crime. Do some research before you start spouting off with left-wing dogma.

That's the problem with the left wing agenda...not enough research. It's just attack attack attack without any reasoning.

That's about as true as the statement "all right wingers are gun-totin', beer-drinkin', ignorant, fatass morons who love America because the media tells them too".

C'mon, let's not generalize or stereotype, here!

do people realize that more kids under the age of 5 die by drowning in a 5 gallon bucket than kids under the age of 10 die by firearms? should we take out 5 gallon buckets as well?

Apples and oranges. That is like saying that it is less safe traveling to the airport than on the flight itself. While that is true it doesn't eliminate the risks involved with air travel, it is only using statistics in an incorrect manner to promote an agenda. It is like saying we need to get rid of all scales because they promote drugs.

Yes, I think kids should not be allowed around water unmonitored where they could drown.

Gun Control
I think that gun control is preposterous! It doesn't matter what people say, I'm going to go by what the constitution says. I have the right to bear arms. I'm sick of all these people and their lame interpretations and arguements of this topic. I am a gun owner. Many people are. The arguement saying that gun control will reduce city violence is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Most people that go and create violence using guns don't even have a license to have them. Making a law that forbids weapons will not stop this violence. All this will do is take weapons away from the people who do not intend to use them for violence but for protection. And all the gangsters and bad people will just smuggle guns in. Meaning that you will have taken all the weapons away from the good people and we will be sitting ducks not being able to protect ourselves. And nobody will be able to go hunting! I think that anyone supporting gun control should be ashamed!

The constitution gives you no such right in my opinion, unless you are in a militia and we lack a military...
