Gun hater you are reading that into it because you want to ban the right of the people to bear arms.

If this were true then it would also read the right of the militia. The 2nd amend does not state the right of the militia. The 2nd amend states the “RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE”. An individual right, not a collective right comrade.

No, the sentence clearly starts by annoucing that it pertains to the militia. It does not pertain to individuals right to bear arms.

All you have to do gun hater is show us any law, rule, edit or regulation that states a person must be in a militia.
The 2nd amend states militias can be regulated so show us the law, rule, edit or regulation.
