I would like to address something that may seem off topic, but its highly relevent. I find it quite humerous every time DHard says something, because each of his sentences start off with some form of name-calling or stereotype, and he uses it in every one of his rebuttals.

One question for the community: Does anyone know how old DHard really is? And one thing for DHard: the fact that you start off with name-calling in each of your sentences and the fact that all you are using are your own personal opinions and rhetoric doesn't help your case at all, and in fact makes you look like an idiot that's living in some trailer in some wilderness town in the middle of Alabama picking your belly button and finishing that last beer only to throw it in a pile of empty beer cans three weeks old; and makes everyone not want to read what you have to say. Just letting you know if you wanted to be a better debater.

As a moderator on this site I have to say I agree with you. This kind of behavior has really brought down the quality of debate on this site, which is unusually high for being a political debate site and something in which we take great pride in.

While we are very proud of the fact that we have never banned anyone, and would never ban anyone for stating their opinion in a respectful manner (however eccentric it may be), the kind of disrespect that has consistently been displayed towards other forum members is unacceptable on this site. If it continues I will motion for a vote to be taken in regards to the removal of the poster in question.

People this is what gun haters think of anyone that defends the right to bear arms.
I have been to many shooting ranges public and private. I have been to many shooting events with large crowds of people.
The one thing I have noticed when you sit around and jack your jaw with the people at these events and ranges is they all come from all walks of life. They cover the entire spectrum of financial resources. They cover almost every religion or non religious belief. They come from every type of job type there is in the private and public work place.
People they all enjoy one thing and that is exercising their right to bear arms.
So gun haters if you do not want to be called a gun hater then leave the right to bear arms alone.
Crap I guess I should have taken a poll.

If you continue to disrespect other forum members you will be banned. The choice is yours.

It has nothing to do with your stance on the topic. You know very well why you would be banned. The choice is yours and it sounds like you have already made it.

But then again you didn't seem too serious coming in either.

DHard, which part about us wanting to conduct ourselves like civilized human beings aren't you getting? You act like every conversation you ever had was about fighting, hate and discontent. We will welcome you here if you can be civil and debate things without insults in every post. You don't concern yourself with the subject matter and that is really the point of being here.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

I'm going to lock this debate because we've heard many views from both sides and i'm sure people who are reading, have plenty of information to find out where they stand.

DHard it would be better if you didn't start off most of your sentences the same by calling someone a "gun hater". I think American's should have the right to bare arms "with some limitations" IE registration, yearly checks, etc. I know if I was on the other side on this issue, I would get rather upset if someone called me a "gun hater" in the beginning of every single reply. Your method is working, but I think the method to condescend is more respectful.

Send me a PM if any of you have any questions.

Thank you,
