Veterans) Good Lord we should be taking better care of these people! My grandfather was one. I wish every girl could have a Grandad like I did. I think that they deserve far much more than they get.

Poor and Homeless) Same first sentence. Actually, I think we need a Welfare reform. We really should be actively involved in decreasing our poverty.

Illegals) We need to get them out, and fast. I propose negotiations with the Mexican government to stop them from coming back.

Gays) I'm not sure how you'll all like this, but I like the government-sanctioned union idea. I'm not going to pick and choose which benefits of married couples that same-sex couples receive, but to please the most people I think there ought to be just a slight differentiation so it doesn't "destroy the sanctity of marriage." Or, in other words, so people won't throw a fit.

Death Row) I think the crime ought to fit the punishment. This applies to marijuana too, because I'd much rather spend our time taking care of a murderer than locking up a harmless pothead. That said, I say life in prison without parole. Because if we don't kill them, they'll find a way to do it themselves.

Medical Care) I definitely don't want a Universal Health Care system, but we can't ignore our poor either. So there has to be a middle-ground, where we can not have most of us paying for all of us, but we're not excluding the impoverished.

Anything else?
