Oh, I buy locally too. But some of those farmers, even the mom & pops, employ Hispanics as day labor. I don't know whether they are legal immigrants or not.

And have you eaten any chicken lately? Better give it up if you have. The chicken industry is a major employer of illegal aliens. Without them the entire industry, at least where I live -- a major chicken producing area -- would grind to a halt.

Well that's a noble thing to have. Unfortunately, nobility alone won't solve this.

I know the farmers around here, and they can't afford to hire any help.illegal or otherwise..I don't eat chicken, there no telling what these people are doing to the chickens..
