Maybe lazy wasn't the right word to use...Goals?

Maybe those who have goals of being wealthy work harder than those who just want to work enough to support the family...

You just described my dad.

I think someone else in the family should help out that person, maybe the wife can work part time...Maybe the father will then have more time to take night school so he can look around for a higher paying job in the future..

How about the wife does work and who does that leave to watch the kids?!?!

sounds so simple

are they standing in the welfare line what about us, you owe us, no they work and work and work.

maybe they mostly like what they do, have short commutes so that they don't spend all there off time driving back and forth to work, so they can be there to get the kids off the school bus (which they have to pay for because they live so close to the school) maybe they like the house and the nieghborhood that they worked so hard to get, they like the nieghbors they live in a town with good schools and low crime, maybe the taxes are a little to high, but that's ok, there isn't anywhere else they want to live....

maybe just maybe they don't bitch about their life because they work for and earn everything they got, have beautiful healthy childern and that's life.

welcome to the real world, real people.

All it is that I am saying is that some people want to have steady jobs to raise a family, and others want to work their asses off to achieve great wealth. (which is probably why their is a division between lower-middle class and upper class)

I would think that someone working 3 jobs and raising a family is doing rather well and is probably living a happy life. When I originally said "lazy" I meant those people, like many I know, that just want handouts from the government. I have a friend who is still on welfare and lies to the department when they call and ask him if he's been looking around for a job.
