Take a lesson in comprehension if you can't understand what I said. I'm still waiting for your moral axiom.

I'm taking a lesson from you in obfuscation, deviation and rudeness.

Why are you unable to answer this question:

"
do you believe that it is a moral right to murder another human being in cold blood?"

And try to answer with a substantiated statement, instead of dodging by asking another question.

We'll get on to your "moral axioms" diversion later.

What was Sean Taylor of the Redskins supposed to do? He had a machete to defend himself and his home. Instead, he loses his own life to a teenager.

The thread here is a very good argument.
Willie the comparison with Sean Taylor's case is rather misleading, if not disingenuous:

1. Taylor was attacked in his own home, Horn was not

2. Horn ignored police instructions to stay indoors and not shoot at the burglars, as the police were moments away. This was not true in Taylor's case.

3. The burglars were unarmed and fleeing the scene. Horn was obviously crazed for blood and had premeditated their murder, as evidenced by his cry "I'm gonna kill them".

4. Horn is as guilty of murder in cold blood as Sean Taylor's killer.

What would your pastor think about your support of a cold blooded murderer?

Which proves no one can ascertain an aggressor's final intent. It is presumptive evidence to assume that an aggressor will use the fullest extent of their capabilities to get away.

How does that translate when two unarmed burglars are faced with an aggressor who has a shotgun and is determined to kill them despite police instructions not to?

No one is forcing you to respond to my posts, so the obfuscation, deviation and rudeness, is on your part.

1. The Texas law allows you to protect your home and you neighbors.

2. The instructions were for Horn's safety, not the burglar.

3. Premeditation would have Horn hiring the guys to to break in the house and then murdering them. This is NOT pre-meditation.

4. I disagree. I would applaud my neighbor if he shot any burglar of my home as well. I'd consider it "defending my home by proxy".

When did they add the "and your neighbour's" clause??

2. The instructions were for Horn's safety, not the burglar.

Irrelevant - he ignored police instructions, isn't that a felony in Texas too?

3. Premeditation would have Horn hiring the guys to to break in the house and then murdering them. This is NOT pre-meditation.

Yes it is - he clearly stated he was going to kill them before he left his house, that's pre-meditation.

If he had surprised them and shot them as they tried to attack him , that would NOT be pre-meditation.

Hiring them to rob his neighbour's house and then shooting them would be entrapment.

Maybe you would, but that would be allowing anger to prevail over common sense and human decency.

Nobody is denying that these two cadavers were scumbags, or that burglary would make anyone furious.

The question is whether that justifies their summary execution.

So Gaysher, what would YOU do if your home was being burglarized? Let him take what he wants or would you put up a fight, even if it means taking the burglar's life?
