That is what I think too. Some are too quick to rush to judgment.

What are the laws stating in Texas that would make this right or wrong? And what really happened? There is such a competition in media to get a story first, that one will report half-truths to at least say something about an event, even if the account is not accurate and substantiated. OhDear

They could have stopped the situation they initiated, from spinning out of control. They are responsible and were held accountable in a most horrific way. But they were parasites on the community.
Their families may be suffering, but where they suffering when these guys were terrorizing others?
The blame lies with the dead.

OhDear | What really happened is what was taped. Some guy calls in a crime in progress. The police do not get their in time. The man goes out to stop the bad guys. The man is armed. The bad guys decide they are still in control and people will submit to their brute force. They move at or away from the guy.
The man decides he is not gonna take it anymore. The bad guys get shot. They die.

Kind of like your take on how Mrs. Kravitz saw things differently in the home of Samantha and Darren Stevens, is there room for more details than what is on the tape? For more than meets the eye? Or less as the case may be? I am just gonna betcha that the court will take considerably longer to decide than what we all have. And that based on more than a tape of a crime-in-progress. I am NOT siding with the criminals here. Just so ya know... OhDear

Mrs. Kravitz was a busy body and we see her info through the filter of her perceptions. The tape speaks for itself. Of course there is more info, but the basic facts will always be the same.
The courts would not be asked to decide what we have. And in a court of law even a man caught red handed is presumed to be innocent...for the purposes of a fair hearing. People always misunderstand .
Justice is blind: is one reason a really good lawyer keeps their client as far away from the court as possible.
Innocent until proven guilty: In law only. Even the State, the Prosecutor presumes guilt as they bring the charges in the first place.
---
One issue: was a crime committed by the man with the weapon?
If not, case closed...in court.
