haha gun control advocate vs fun rights advocates : who wins? The people with the guns.

My right to bear arms : Who is going to take it away from me? Haha a pussy like you?

You are less than nothing on this planet because your dickless opinions leave you no recourse against the tyrants and the fools that you choose to allow to own you.

Interesting how you always equate gun ownership with sexual prowess, like a gun is somehow an extension of your penis.

Perhaps you have some deep inadequacies and insecurities in both areas of your life.

Grace, you have to be the only person that I have ever come across who could reduce me to the point of defending Gary.

If the character that he presents to us on Internet boards is the real Gary, then he does not live in England. He is a legal, resident alien living and working in California. He has stated this repeatedly on this board.

[rhetorical question]Do you even read the posts on here or are you just here to deliver monologues?[/rhetorical question]
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

Grace it's nonsense to describe gun ownership as a God - given right it is an invention of men!

The British people have owned guns for centuries, and still can if they follow the right licensing process.

But after the Dunblane massacre in 1994, when an idiot walked into a school and slaughtered 14 little children and one teacher, the British people demanded that their government make hand guns illegal.

Fortunately the British still have some control over their government and aren't constrained by an 18th century wish list.

The result is that there have been no repeats of that ghoulish event at Dunblane, and the UK homicide rate is less than 15% of the US homicide rate.

Meanwhile the shootings continue in America ad nauseum, VA Tech and most recently the Univ of Illinois and a mall in the same state.

These mass shootings happen so frequently they barely stay in the news for 48 hours.

Trying to justify that kind of mindless slaughter by citing a "God given" right is both tragic and ludicrous.

Morons like Toxic only add weight to that argument.

I don't suppose anything will change in the US but I think the Brits deserve respect for their determination not to let gun violence descend to the depths it has reached in America.

The shootings at NIU and at the mall could well be copycats of the shootings at Virginia Tech. I'm afraid that it will not be the last on-campus shooting. Still, I have not heard of a motive behind the shooting at NIU.

You think taking guns from lawful civilains is going to stop criminals from shooting people?? No it will not, so there is no point in it.

I'm not saying that.

I'm saying that almost every other industrialised nation has managed to control guns and avoided promoting a gun-culture love fest. Except for the US.

Unfortunately the American people pay a dear price for their misguided obsession with guns.

Well we can't agree on everything Grace I still admire your stand on Christian issues (except this one!).
