Just goes to show that the Bible sometimes appears to contradict itself and the meaning isn't always clear.

It depends on who you talk to. From my point of view it will be before the tribulation officialy starts. I wont be laughing at you though, I'll be praying that you understand what has happened and you will be one of the millions who then turn to Christ, and receive eternal life through him.

The word magog just means land furthest north. Find a globe and run a striaght line from the north pole to Israel, and the city furthest to the north is Moscow.

Nearly every ME country. They have said that a attack on Iran (persia) would be a attack on them. They are building military bases in Syria, they are holding sumits for Palistine, making nuclear energy deals with Eygpt, ect ect.

What contradiction? Your quote said "no man will know the day nor hour" and he was 100% right, but that doesnt mean those who study scripture cant know the season, even the generation. People have been predicting the end since the begining, but at no time have we had what we have now, biblicaly. Not even close.

As for the prediction of the end being near, I have heard all my life that "things have never been as bad as they are now."

Personally, I think this is just an attempt to control people through fear. Which is something priests and politicians have been perfecting for a very long time.

Most "contradictions" Ive seen claimed in the bible can be explained through knowing history, or understanding the difference in the meaning of words from the original language, or just plain reading the whole thing in context.

When did Russia say this? Russia has supported sanctions against Iran at the UN. Many countries oppose an invasion of Iran.

It appeared that Hitler was the Beast creating that single govt in Europe and committing genocide on the Jews. Wars and rumours of wars existed throughout the entire world,

Had we been alive then I'm sure we would have construed events to support prophecies about last days.
