1 & 2 shot hunting rifles DON'T kill humans? CAN'T kill humans?

If I'm off to kill somebody, I'll take a 1 or 2 shot hunting rifle over a 50 Caliber ANY day!

A hell of a lot harder to conceal than handguns.

And what does that have to do with 50 Caliber guns?

It has to do with the enormous amount of handgun violence in America. A 50 caliber gun would be a bit difficult to conceal.

You might want to apply the same logic you apply to the legality issue of marijuana to gun control. "Make them all illegal, and you'll only increase the price and increase crime to boot."

For the EXACT same reason that increasing the price of drugs is bad.

It leads people to steal and commit other crimes in order to get their "fix".

WTF are you smoking? Either way I'm thinking we agree that banning guns is bad . You ban one thing, you start banning more. Look at England. First handguns had to be put in special government lockers when not in use. 2 years later, they banned handguns entirely.

Everyone in Flordia and Texas carries guns in their vehicles, the main thing being THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE about carrying them. They know not to use them willy-nilly, and don't. Most of the gun crimes are caused by people illegally obtaining firearms.

Preventing legal people from getting them won't stop the illegal sale of firearms. They aren't that hard to smuggle into the country.

Case in point, as stated above: DC has most restrictive gun laws, but still has the highest gun violence in the country (for seperate reasons). Texas has much lower gun violence, and has much less regulation.

Conclusion: The correlation between gun ownership and gun violence is at a maximum the same as the correlation between video games and becoming a mass-murderer.
