Dude!!! The internet chick that moved from St. Louis after a week of..well...screwing. She was cute. It lasted a month before the one and only police call to my house. She was a nut. I still talk to her though. One kid and a divorce later, she's a nice conversation.

But I remain remarkably free of cynicism. I'm just more keen to the "warning signs" now, and am fairly confident I won't fall into that situation again.

Yeah, luckily my wife was next. I'll have to tell that story one day. I can see the warning signs a mile away now. I am insanely glad I don't have to date today.

Anyway, your wife sounds like quite the catch. I'm happy for you both.
I can't begin to express how lucky I feel to have my little family.

ROTFLMAOL!!! Thanks. They are fun to use, that's for sure...And addictive, since you can pretty much find one for any occasion.

When did you last hear of a woman working down a coal mine? Or swinging from a girder 800 feet up??

Or trying to sell a clapped out 1983 Corolla?

Hey, hey, hey now.....My wife was a hell of a used car saleswoman. But again, I met her when she was 16 and have "molded" her a bit. Both our Accord and TSX are sticks. She's the chick driving the G35 6 spd demo. Or dying to take out the X5 not because it's a SUV, but because it's the only larger SUV you can get with a manual transmission. She shocks people with her car knowledge and we fight over the Car and Driver, Road and Track, and Motor Trends.

But there are exceptions to every rule. I'm a 6'6' black guy who didn't play basketball in high school. Go figure.

I've known a few women who did those sorts of jobs. I have dear woman friend who is an airline pilot -- who has also worked as a corporate jet and freighter pilot.

When's the last time you heard of a man doing Hospice care, or teaching an entire classroom of handicapped and special needs children? Sure, there are a few men who do those types of jobs as well. But the vast majority are women. And man, talk about "difficult and challenging" work... frankly, I think a coal mine would be rather a lark by comparison.

I can't say that I have ever heard of it in the lesbian community.

(Though I have to admit that for a brief time I entertained the notion for myself, just for myself. I ultimately decided against it, and I'm glad I did.)

I'm glad you did too. Necessary medical procedures are risky enough, voluntary breast augmentation is just silly IMHO.
