See that's the problem around here, we have a free for all kind of day. Structure???? What structure??? Mom works automotive retail hours and has different hours during the week, sometimes we don't go to bed til after midnight. I know that's bad, but he has the rest of his life to conform to a schedule.

He's just 3 though, he'll figger it out.

I actually used the 'sticker' method with my boys in your situation...Rather then sweets. And I used it with everyone in the household. The boys practically turned it into a contest, to see who would get the most stickers for going poop in the potty versus their diapers. ROTFLMAOL!!!

What is it with kids and stickers? But eh...Whatever works and gets them out of those expensive diapers. ROTFLMAOL!!!
So what you are saying is that we shoulda had 2 kids? Hmmm....I think I'll take my present situation over that idea.

If it makes you feel better, I'm having the same problem with Quinn.

It isn't that he WON'T go poo on the potty, he just doesn't recognize the fact that he has to go until it's too late.

It will happen, though. I thought it would never happen with Spencer, but eventually they get the connection.

My son knows when he's gonna do it. He just doesn't wanna do it in the potty. Heck even I know when he's gonna do it. He gets quiet and gets missing for a couple minutes. I'm not pressing the issue or anything though. Don't want him to get a complex. I just keep him in pull-ups till he goes number 2 and then I switch to the "big boy" underwear. It's worked out OK.

No, cause when I was doing that with my oldest, it was just him, me, and family/friends. But anyone who went poop in the bathroom (or as some of my family/friends pretended to do), they got a sticker...

So when the youngest was being trained, we used the same method of giving out stickers.

My oldest and youngest were born nearly 3 years apart, so the only influence that the oldest had in helping to train the youngest was getting a sticker. And if anything...from early on those two were in a constant 'contest' between each other. ROTFLMAOL!!!

Should have seen the competition when the oldest got a driving permit...ROTFLMAOL!!! 'Mom, if he's allowed to drive, I should be allowed too also'...

"When was the last time you scrubbed a toilet, especially a toilet used by 6 males, a couple of which don't aim so good?"

Knot, you need to get one of those signs I've seen in the restroom at a few resturants and bars:

"We aim to please. So, you aim too, please."

Fake titties get boring rather quickly, I guess.

That sticker idea like that sounds like a great idea...I'm gonna give it a try. Thanks. We have some from his baby potty that I never used.
