As I said in so many words, the answers can be found in the past. Go back and eliminate whatever was placed in that started the out-of-control spiral of healthcare. One clue, not so far back, is illegal aliens using OUR healthcare facilities as an everyday trip to the hospital's emergency room (as opposed to making an appointment at the doctor's office where they would have to pay) and/or having babies and not paying the bill. Nothing in this life is free. SOMEONE pays, and currently, it's the middle class American citizens.
I think tort reform and a control on medical cost though insurers and providers. And by insurers, I mean for every one. Hospitals on down.

Instead of X number of millions in a lawsuit, it should have a specific formula based on some set of values. With punitive having it's own formula too.

There isn't one politician you can name that doesn't have filthy laundry, and that includes Hillary, her husband, and the current filth sitting in the white house, and his father. They are all dirty, dirty, dirty, and it doesn't help that now Bill and Daddy George are best friends. It stinks, stinks, stinks. Georgie Boy lets the illegals in and waves the mexican flag (true story) on our land, while Hillary wants to give them health insurance.Dems are pubs and pubs are dems. Two sides of the same coin.

I had to take the time to read the plan before responding to this ridiculous claim. It is only 16 pages long so it didn't take long.

Just as I suspected, your above statement is a bald-faced lie. No mention of euthanasia whatsoever.
How do you interpret "the plan might dump those who the plan doesn't deem worth treating"??

Say you smoked for 35 years of your life and you're 70 years old. Your doctor finds a "spot" on your lung that needs to be removed. It will cost 75,000 dollars for the surgery and Hillary's plan says "no". Is that not a form a euthanasia? What else would you call it?

To my reasoning, her plan says, "This person isn't worth saving. Even if he/she hadn't smoked, he/she is too old to waste that kind of money on. Sorry. Operation denied."

Others of a more capitalist bent might say "well, nobody told you to smoke, and nobody told you to not save up a good nest egg".Everybody hates socialized medicine until THEY need it.

That was what I thought you meant. Doesn't sound that far off from some HMO horror stories.

And his point was a blatant lie. Read the plan. That bullshit is not in there.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

Please show me where in the plan you find a passage that can even remotely be interpreted your way.

I say you cannot do it. Which makes you a liar.

OK. I just wan't to make sure I have a choice. And as long as that's the case and I'm not lumped in with EVERYBODY, I'm fine with some universal healthcare. But just as welfare failed, I don't see where just making healthcare a "right" is affordable or possible in a country this size.

I figure it this way. If you are rich, you will just buy your coverage same as you do now. If not, well, you can keep going as you are now with NO healthcare, and die at 30, 40, 60, 70, whenever first illness strikes, or take your chances with Hilly's plan, where you at least get helped half of the time, and maybe make it to 70 as a guy who sucks back 3 packs a day.Either way, those who have private insurance now don't and won't worry about the others!
