So people who don't have children shouldn't pay for education?

People who oppose the war in Iraq shouldn't pay for it?

Currently everyone pays for health insurance, directly or indirectly, but not everyone has access to health care.

How is that fair?

And everybody does have access to health care.If you are poor enough there is a catchall. And if you make a certain amount, you should be able to get your own.

The rest of your questions are a circle that we've travelled before in another thread.

Apparently nobody else is interested in health care issues in this forum.

All they want to talk about is homosexual marriage and zoophilia.

-re-train their unproductive, obfuscatory paper pushers to be health care professionals who can actually help people get better (instead of wearing out fax machines)

-reduce the overhead of GM, Ford, United Airlines and every other large company in America by hundreds of billions of dollars within 12 months

-make every senior executive of every health insurance company work a mandatory 500 hours community service in a hospital

-provide better health care to more people for less money

-and keep the change??
Because all of that would favour people who are poor or hard strapped. Nobody cares about them because they are a nasty hinderance to insurance companies' bottom lines.

Go to any country with socialized medicine and they laugh at us Americans for paying for the level of care we receive. And every citizen is covered.

I have lived under both the American system and the more progressive European system and while neither is perfect they live longer over there and no one loses their home because of medical bills! Enough said (one would think).

Boy, that's something for the sens and reps to think about, Hev. I sure would love to see a system like that put into place where one does not lose a home.

Just to think that Pres. Bush asked the Saudis to lower the price of oil so we can pay a little less at the pump, he should have gone to Europe and see how people don't lose their homes over health care.

The solution is very simple you know. If you are too poor to have health insurance, you have no right whatsoever to get sick or injured thus taking another hospital bed they never seem to have available anyway.

Then those that don't have health insurance may as well dig their own grave before they get sick.

Are they picking him up or dropping him off??

When FX starts his towing business he'll be towing away ambulances like that if they park for more than a couple of minutes - after he's given the guy on the gurney a ticket for loitering!
