We were too. But we did spring for some carpet tho. Them painted floors was cold. It was a nice place to start until my mom could do better.

Yeah I'm happy with what I have. AT&T has some good deals for DSL. I pay less than what dial up used to cost.

I have had kidney failure for about 18 years now. I don't let it get me down though. I know there are people that are far worse off than I am. And I feel that my family, especially now that I have my son, gives my life direction. Even though I have been with my wife for what seems like forever, when we had my son, it took the "us" to another level.

Considering we started 13 or so years ago as a disabled vet and a 16 year old on the internet lying about her age, I think we do pretty good.
