of course, there are many that do. some of them post here. in fact, there is a majority that do. hopefully their voice can become loud enough that they can demand some changes.

and if universal health cover is brought in, those that opposed it will begin to wonder why they did.
If I have to pay an extra 10-20 dollars a week in taxes in order for everyone to have equal opportunities, I really don't have a problem with that. I can't understand those that do.

Here's an example....

A few years ago, the local CC (the only community college) wanted to pass a millage to help them retain programs, and not have to put limits on the number of students they admit. Now, this CC is where most of the local kids go. Most can't afford MSU or UofM or the other universities around.

It didn't pass.

When I heard that it didn't pass, I was so pissed, I emailed a scathing letter the the editor of the local paper. They published it.

I actually got a call from some idiot dude who tracked my phone number down, just so he could bitch at me about how we are over taxed, why should he have to pay for my kids going to CC when his kids are already in MSU, blah blah blah.

I hung up on the selfish son of a bitch.

Oh, and BTW, my son is on the waiting list to get into CC. Can you believe that?

I would just like to add that the millage would have cost property owners app. $35 per year extra. Big whoop.

I'd rather keep the extra $20-30 a week in my own family thank you.

And in GA we have HOPE scholarships funded by the lottery. Maintain a decent GPA and college tuition is paid for. No new taxes, paid for with funds voluntarily provided by people playing the lottery. And it rewards those who do well in school.

Of course you would.

We expect nothing less from you, fx.

Just curious....

Do you have any redeeming qualities AT ALL?

Nope. Wasn't it you that called me a complete asshole?

On second thought, I DO take care of my family though. And I love my wife. So to folk that matter, I'm fine. But my wife has called me an asshole too from time to time.

Yeah, right.

You spend a good portion of your day here, supposedly taking care of your son, but where is he while you prattle on about how unnatural homosexuality is? And where is your wife? Out working to support you.

Yes, you take real good care of your family....

I have 5 computers, 2 of which are laptops. Not to mention my PS3. It takes no time to whip out one of these posts. Today, I have to cut the grass and do things around the house so my son is off at day care having a play day. And for a stay-at-home dad, my bring home is more than my manager wife. Not to mention the $415 a year insurance, free college, and other nifty benefits. So yes, I do take care of my family.
Her job is nifty too, we get to drive a different car every day if we want. Right now I have a 07 BMW 328i coupe at my disposal. Sure beats living in the one bedroom cinderblock duplex that I grew up in.

Funny thing is, I didn't know I could have kids. My then girlfriend and I had just moved from my bachelor house to our first house together after being together for about 7 years when she turned up pregnant. It was a shock. I quit working as a car-note collector after my son was born so that she could work full time and get promoted to manager. It worked. I'm stay at home because it maximizes our potential income and standard of living. Since I can only work part time, it's just the smart thing to do.

if you are making so much why should she work outside the home? for what, so you can have a fancy car and all those computers and then stick the baby in daycare to be raised by strangers? this is not the natural order of things. it is too much like gays asking for marriage. the definition of mother has always been the one who stays home to take care of the children.
