That's not you taking care of your family, that's the government taking care of your family. Something you don't want anyone else to get, BTW.

Yes, it seems you and I are on the same page. neither of us think fxashun should be staying home while the poor wife has to work so he can have a new car everyday.

Oh, please, if you and I ever agreed on something I'd shoot myself.

I have no problem with stay at home dads, or daycare. What I have a problem with is his hypocrisy.

Yeah maybe so, but those are the rules in place. I signed up with the recruiter that our government sent to my school looking for people to join the military. I took the ASVAB and aced it. They gave me a signing bonus, rank, choice of duty station, and a cushy job as a tech. Then I got sick under the rules that are in place for service-members. I did nothing dishonest, and I am quite happy winning the kidney lottery. 17 years later, I'm still rather healthy, have been retired since I was 21 with nice healthy disability checks hitting direct deposit every month. Along with so many other benefits, I can't even keep up with them. My favorite quote for those that feel the way you guys do.

I will not let allow you to make me feel guilty for my carefree lifestyle.

I went to college with a lot of haters. Yall ain't the first.

I don't want anyone who hasn't done jack to earn it be able to suck off the taxes that come from my family income. I have presented a plan which I feel is quite fair in another thread. But my wifes working to keep an unemployed drug addict alive so he can do more drugs? Not.

My wife ain't poor, she does quite well, and she has been working for this company for almost 10 years now. She loves cars, so this is like going to a playground for her. And she's in charge.

I doubt you have the conscience to feel guilty about anything.

I can feel guilty about things worth felling guilty about. But not whether or not I deserve my pension from the military. There are those that get far more for far less. I did what was required of me, I wasn't dishonest. There is nothing to feel guilty for here.

I have apologized to several people in my time on here. And each time I meant it. If I do something I feel sorry for, I have no problem admitting it.

Fxashun: it's nice to see a military man who is being taken care of for a change. Our government doesn't do enough for our vets in my opinion. I'm tired of hearing about homeless vets or vets who arent getting healthcare. Good to see a positive story for once.
