Coverage for Viagra?
Why is Insurance coverage for Viagra an issue with women in relation to birth control? Viagra is not a form of male birth control!

What is Viagra?



Viagra relaxes muscles and
increases blood flow to particular areas of the body.
Sildenafil under the name Viagra is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. Another brand of sildenafil is Revatio, which is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and improve exercise capacity in men and women.
Viagra may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Don't know what to tell you. We have men who get viagra...the insurance ranges from paying for 4 pills a month, to paying for 6 a month...but it's covered.
It isn't the destination that is important; it is what we learn along the way

I did not know that!
That seems like it's more for ED.
I wonder what Insurance covers when men and women are taking it for heart/circulatory problems?
