The Clintons never did take questions that weren't screened and approved ahead of time.
Thanks. Guess there was another webcast tonight - she has the first two archived on her site. I can't believe she's the only politician who prescreens their questions...

Probably not...but how fair is that to the voter? You can't ask a question if she wants to hide something. Has Obama had to answer questions? I suspect so....he must not be as slick and controlling as the queen!

I haven't tried asking any of the candidates questions yet.
You might ask, but the candidate might evade (which in my book is a form of lying, which is NOT one of my "family values"!).
Seems like it'd be fairer to the voters if candidates were forthcoming with answers to all questions.

You always hear evasions in answers, you always hear so many qualifiers that their answers mean nothing. If a politician says what the mean, they get voted out. What's his name in Pennsylvania is an example....

But evasions and qualifiers aren't quite the same as only answering questions you told them to ask in the first place!

Evasions, qualifiers, predetermined questions, negative campaigning, etc., etc.... is there any wonder why voter turnout isn't higher?
