Tell me how many million Americans are on Medical Assistance.

Then we can talk.

But the FACT is that LIARS use these numbers all the time. So there are - what - 47 million Americans that don't have PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
1. A good number of them are on Medical Assistance.
2. NONE of them can be denied emergency medical care.

Numbers don't lie, but liars use numbers all the time.

Since you brought it up why don't you put your money where your mouth is? How many are on medical asssistance Jefferson?

Even if it were 10 million on medical assistance it would still leave over 30 million without coverage. And that is still probably millions too many...

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

How many of them are illegal immigrants?

Your beloved website made a point of the fact that 32.7% of Hispanics don't have private healthcare.

So how many are illegals?

Your numbers keep dwindling, don't they? Only a gullible dumbass would believe it's 47 million.

About 15% of our citizens don't have coverage. What exactly are you whinning about?

If you have anything more to say I wanna see some stats... not just fluff.

You post a quote from a whiney-ass liberal website, saying that 47 million Americans have no healthcare.

I call your bluff.

1. No Emergency Room in ANY hospital can, by law, deny medical treatment to ANYBODY. This means that on the most basic level, there are NO AMERICANS WHO HAVE NO HEALTHCARE.

2. I ask you how many million Americans are on Medical Assistance. You blow if off.

3. I ask you how many Hispanics, included in that study, are illegals. Again, you blow it off.

You're full of lies, half truths, and just plain crap.

If it's so bad here, move back to Sweden. I'm sure they're longing for you.

What bluff? It is a fact that 47 million Americans had no coverage in 2004.

You claim that a certain amount of people included should not be. Please provide data if that is the case.

See above post, since you obviously didn't read it the first time.

15% of Americans being without private health insurance does NOT mean that 15% of Americans have no healthcare. That is an absolute lie - told by people with an agenda.

They have no health coverage. Sure they could walk into an emergency room and get care. They will, however, be paying incredible amounts of money back for a very long time. How is that a positive thing for the stability of our nation? It isn't. Around 40 million Americans live like this at any given time. I think we are due for a change.

I don't want to change the way we care for our citizens. I think American doctors are amongst the world's best. I just want to change the way they (and insurance companies) get paid.

1. They do not have PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE. That is NOT the same thing as "having no health coverage."

2. Being friends with a hospital administrator, I can guarantee you that that is absolutely FALSE. EVERY hospital knows - by experience - that people who are unable to pay for Emergency Room care will NEVER pay their bill.

3. I agree. But I don't believe that the "McDonald's Style Socialized Healthcare" is the right way to go.
