They gather under the bridge.
I have decided that there very well could be a conspiracy to distract the attention away from the true issues, like Bush's law breaking, here on DTT! Each thread, of some of the more nationally controversial issues, has either dumbly or skillfully had it's topic changed. I find some of the issues I have been involved in lately to be so petty that they are not worth debate. I find my opponent arguing about something they could not possibly be so passionate about. I am not going to respond to anything other than the topic of the given thread. This is the intent of this forum and if some other argument is spawned from one thread move the next argument to the appropriate forum. When I first started posting here the moderators were on us to stay on topic. The quality of debate here has gone down hill. We never argued about stupid offtopic issues like seems to be happening now. It is an organized troll conspiracy!!!! I have decided to call this conspiracy the trouble with tribbles or who's line is it anyway?

Re: They gather under the bridge.
I have to say I agree. I have voiced my opinion to the other moderators about the apparent "trolling" going on and we have been monitoring the situation. I will bring it up again for discussion.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

We've only had two trolls show up. I'd hardly call that a conspiracy.

Both have been equally troubling in different ways. It is certainly not a conspiracy but I think we as a whole need to be realistic and face the fact that we may be the target of deliberate disruption and distraction the more this site grows.

The trolls are undercover FBI agents trying to disrupt any anti-bush activity. That's right, even if it's people simply Defending The Truth.

I was kidding about the conspiracy as that is the reason it is in humor.
I think onlyoneplanet may have something though. If there really was a conspiracy it would be either the FBI, the CIA, or the Army's unit at Fort Bragg. Do no think this an impossiblilty. If one of us hit on something that was secret and not public knowledge, this is exactly what they would do. Do no think they do not monitor us, they do. That is one of the fun things about the patriot act. If anyone from Iraq, or any country we are not fond of, logs on here, you and I have communicated with a country that Bush doesn't like. We can be monitored. Never mind the fact that since there are not checks and balances for this program we can only take Bush at his word on who is being listened too. Come on! You know you can't be sure about any of this!

Lets not forget that tadpole looking for donations so he could buy the supplemental equipment he needed to deploy attracted the attention of the DoD.

we can all do our part to not feed the trolls and keep on topic..... everyone
that takes a thread off topic is of course not a troll, everybody has done that
