Civil and Human liberties are violated by illegals be it if they are drug dealers or immigrants. The same goes for these hard core drug dealers. Some of these are the ones that are operating gangs that believe they are above the law. Or those poor souls that do not feel they are worthy enough to give a damn about themselves. So they fall into these traps. No one is even counting the cost that many poor immigrants legal or illegal pay in suffering and abuse by the greed mongers that could care less if they live or die. The ones who suffer the most are the women and children. Our society on a whole does not treat women or children very well as it is. How would you like to be a woman and an illegal or minority that has suffered at the hands of a rapist or killer. Do you think the local small town police department would give a damn about you. Or would the guy that raped you have the upper hand because his daddy has lots of money and local politic savy? The answer is the rapist has the upperhand and the victim is treated like crap. I know I watched it happen to a lovely girl that spoke very little english. It is utterly disgusting that our lawmakers want to sell America to illegal aliens. Shoot why not give the large coporations who already bought and paid for those politicians another break. They surely need some cheaper labor and another way to drive the working mans wages down even farther than they already are. For the sell out politicians. Sell, sell, sell until there is nothing left for your own brats. Maybe those lovely illegals you are selling the country to will visit your children next time. If we need it. Then I would propose that we have immigrant sponsership. They would have to have a viable American citizen as a sponser to recieve anything, green card, work, or a work visa. Put limitations on how many one person, family or organization could sponser and if it is allowed how many a business or corporation could sponser. If they insist on making that $5,000.00 that those politicians want only applicable to corporations and larger businesses. Not the immigrant who is half starved already. Then that information should be made fully public so we all know who sells us out and who supports the people of the country. For any company found harboring illegal aliens they should be fined into oblivion.

By reality; I mean that the Iraqi people chose to live under the thumb of this monster named Saddam. They still live under his legacy, if not him personally. Until they can determine the course they need to take, the US will always be seen as the interfering force there. We seem to forget that America supported Saddam and the Iraqis in the late 70's against Iran during the war between those two countries. I think that was what Bush Sr. had in mind when we did not dismantle Iraq's government after Desert Storm and try to remake it in our desired image. That was, and I believe still is, the job of the Iraqi people. Was Saddam a monster that needed to be toppled and then put before a Court? Sure. But why do we even think this when we have chosen to tolerate but not inerfere in a government headed by the likes of Josef Stalin? Mao Tse-Tung? Where were the American troops when Stalin and Mao were brutally supressing and killing millions of their own? That is what I mean by lack of political strength in idea. We have none. With totally bankrupt policy, it is no wonder why countries can't stand us. I forgot to mention our departed friend Ferdinand Marcos. Just how badly did he pillage the Phillipines? (We even gave him asylum in his last days. How come we didn't allow him to be tried before a court of his own people?) People; I have stated before- our State Departement operates under the policy of realpolitick. We tolerate even the worst governments if they have something we need or we are afraid of. With Russia, it was obviously because they had emerged as a superpower. With China, it was because of the emerging trade- then and now . I'll bet nobody in America could not find at least a few things in their homes marked " MADE IN CHINA". With Ferdinand and the Phillipines; we supported him (and even gave him asylum later) because we had Clark AFB and Subic Bay Naval Station- both a deterrent to the communist miltary strength. How does our credibility look now? Not too good. This is what the world sees us as- POLITICALLY BANKRUPT! Last edited by nuttyjoe; 05-31-2007 at 10:12 AM. Well, specifically, keep your eyes open. If someone in your neighborhood is living in the same house with about 20 of his/her relatives, might be illegal. If someone knows NOT ONE WORD of English, might be illegal. And best of all, if you KNOW of someone that is Illegal, then call ICE. I don't like the idea of a police state either. And we are trained from infancy not to be a snitch. But, while the sweet neighbor next door might remind you of the Spanish? Iranian? whatever version of your Grandmother, doesn't mean that everything is hunky dory. Just because you think they are nice, doesn't mean that they diden't steal someone's identity, job, or even life. You don't know and don't (apparently) want to know. As far as the difference between being killed by an American or an Illegal Alien.......then what is the difference between being killed by an American or a Terrorist? Both are here illegally. Both shoulden't be here. If both were not here, then that particular person woulden't be dead by THEIR hands, would they? Last I checked, the Police is an integral part of keeping me, you, us safe. They are not the enemy. ICE is an integral part of keeping me, you, us safe from people who should not be here. They are not the enemy. Perpetrators, collaborators, bystanders, victims: we can be clear about three of these categories. The bystander, however, is the fulcrum. If there are enough notable exceptions, then protest reaches a critical mass. We don’t usually think of history as being shaped by silence, but, as English philosopher Edmund Burke said, ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing.’ (this is a commonly known quote and does not need to be cited) http://www.lhric.org/henhud/library/RGModelPaper.html

But I have never seen this anyway. The only immigrants I know are single families living in single family dwellings or young single people going to school. I think one family has grandma living with them. Again, I question this criteria. But I never met anyone like that. Never met any to my knowledge. How would I know? Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this. That's why I support the Pickens Plan. Check out the website at www.pickensplan.com. If you like what you see, please join me as a Pickens Plan supporter.

| Somebody is going to have to explain to me the differece between being raped by an illegal immigrant and being raped by an American. How is one better than the other? Last time I looked; rape is a capital crime, no matter who commits it. Maybe some women out there can answer this one for me. | |||||||||||||||||||||
