When I lived in CO I was the manager of the yard at a public auto auction for two years.
It was a big place and we sold roughly 400 cars per auction. About 25% of these cars went to Mexico. About half of these were sold to residents of Mexico, Who had work visas, the other half were sold to Mexician people from the El Paso are, who bring these cars over the border as a business.
It takes a while to prepare 50 cars for the trip and I had a chance to talk to alot of them. I think that these people were alittle paranoid about being openly supportive of illegal immigrants. I heard some true horror stories of some of these people's friends, trying to get into this country.
I think that the problem is not the people trying to get in, I think the problem is in our way of viewing these people. All of America has been conditioned to see these people from the governments point of view, through the media. I probably know 300 mexicians and I did not have a problem with many of them. Once in a great while one would try to get over on us and we would catch him, but I found the ratio of white people and black people to far out weigh them in terms of theft. I think that we should look to history for our answer. We took a lot of land from these people. What have we done to make up for it? The Free Trade Agreement? Please. We took land from Mexico that we have made trillions from. If we continue to keep the borders closed to Mexicians than we should close our borders to all immigrants.
I think that we probably have too many illegal mexicians here already, and if they are here illegally, they should be kicked out. We should allow them to immigrate without caring if they were here illegally to start with. We will need to limit the number of immigrants and start treating these people as we treat any other peoples. This is America.

I have quite a few of friend whose families came her from mexico (legally), and they have no patience or tolerance at all for the illegal immigrants. And they deeply resent the fact that they often get looked at with suspicion and ire because they are being clumped into the same category as the illegals.
