And if anyone thinks that is a bad idea, best I can tell then, it is cos money is doing the talking.
But then again, I might have an oversimplified take on these political matters.

| Yeah, that's a bad idea. If you move people here that are used to being "poor" to work, then there will be no real reason to pay lifetime americans the wages they expect. You do know that many of the people that build many of the things we buy live in what we consider refrigerator boxes. I would hate to see the standard fo living in this country drop to that level. I though it was bad living in a 750 sq ft brick.

Not to mention we need help with an attitude adjustment as a people. If you ask me. And I am sure to include myself in that number...
Here is a link about many of ours who are needing all of us to have a right attitude, and I am thinking that is a more global attitude. Cos no matter how patriotic a soldier is, he comes home seeing the images of the children in that country he was sent to, to fight. And that is a more global worldview. Funny too, isn't it? Fighting for one's country, but returning with a more huge love for people everywhere.

The big problem is that many (though not all) organized groups who oppose immigration have a very high proportion of criminals and psychos amongst their membership. Any ordinary person who wants to see some politically realistic solutions to bring immigration under control is driven away by a bunch of maniacs. Not everyone who opposes further immigration wants to be involved in violent criminal activities. Whatever they say, mainstream political parties - both Left and Right - have done virtually nothing to safeguard the jobs of poorer people in the indigenous population. In addition, many extremist groups are just as ineffectual because they are overpopulated with people who like violence, rather than effective solutions. | |
