| I have a lot to say on how we could reform immigration. We shouldn't deny workers opportunities to create better lives for themselves in America, and we need to do away with our current lottery selection. On average immigrants pay $190,000 more in taxes than they recieve in government services. | This chick that just moved from Brazil doesn't speak English very well, but she works full-time, overnight as a nurse and is in school majoring in Electronics Engineering. I have many friends who are immigrants and they sort of laugh at the American's they see today. One of my friends is confused about why we need things like welfare, affirmative action, etc. because it's so damn easy to achieve the American dream. He would tell me that all you have to do to make it big in America is your homework. btw, he is a Republican. | |
