Im sorry to tell you but women were citizens, they might have bee looked down apon but they were indeed citizens of the United States.

There is a difference between what you are saying and what I am trying to point out, they do not belong here, they are not citizens of the United States and they have no reason being here.

I suspect Nebraskaboy is a very young man with a limited education and an even more limited amount of life experience.

I find that as life goes on and as you gain more and more experience in this world you become more and more open minded, as you get more educated, you become more open minded. No doubt there are exceptions to the rule, but I find that those are often the people upon whom an education is wasted to begin with.

I think you are missing the argument. The underlying argument of my statement is that it a logical train wreck if you say something is wrong just because it is illegal.

It seems that the underlined argument you are making is that anyone who has no reason being here should be turned away at the door. I agree with you. Anyone who is not of indigenous heritage has no business being here and should be sent home. I would venture a guess that unless you live on a reservation in Nebraska, that logic would apply to you. Maybe you should rethink your logic or explain to us how a Mexican man trying to work in our country for substandard wages in an attempt to make a better life for his family is any worse than white men lying, cheating, stealing, and murdering to take the land over... I never heard of an "illegal" immigrant giving blankets with diseases on them to women and children.
