The fact of the matter is that there is a big difference between morality and legality. Laws have little to do with morals, although they frequently parallel morals. Do I think illegal immigration is wrong (immoral)? No. Do I think it is illegal, yes it clearly is. Should it be? That's the debate. However saying that it should be illegal because it is, is no kind of argument at all. If it is, than blacks should go to the back of the bus and women should get the hell out of the voting booths...

No... I have done a poor job of availing myself of the democratic process and rights which we possess in this country... I am a pretty typical American in that way... Perhaps I should though.
