AF, personally I think the fines are not anywhere near large enough. I think some jail sentences thrown in to repeat offending companies might also open some eyes.Let me explain.
Last week, I was out driving with a friend and we passed a car lot that advertised in Spanish " no credit or license needed" ( I am somewhat fluent in Spaish; having taken it in high school).
I live in Illinois. Here we have a Mandatory Insurance law. If one does not need a license to purchase a car; how would this car be insured? The license is what the insurance company would want a copy of to check the driving record.
As this sign was in Spanish, I take it for granted that it targets the Hispanic population. The practice employed by this "Honest Joe" (American) car lot is what I mean by attacking the problem here in America first; from the financial side. Does not this practice actually invite a prospective buyer to break the lawto get a sale? What do you think should happen here?

I believe he/she should lose their licenses and never be able to own nor work at another car lot, plus I think he/she should spend a few years picking veggie for free.

We are close here AF; but who should be held accountable here? The owner(or owners) of the car lot? or the Hispanic who purchases an automobile from them? This is what I mean by the problem also being on the American side of the border.

The owners, they are the ones that are in control, not sure about the hispanics,,cause some are Americans and some are illegals. I just think we need to play hardball and show the world that this country is ran by and defended by man that take a stand...
