There's no question in my mind that that's precisely what he meant. I think this is the sentiment of all the other posters here as well. People here look to you as a model of perfection on how to live our lives properly. Instead of trying to resist your sound guidance and gentle tutelage, people should bow to you and give thanks for receiving such divine knowledge.
