I seem to recall a line from some movie where a presidential candidate said something along the lines of "We should all just keep fucking until we are all the same color", and I absolutely agree...

It certainly seems to be the way of the future. Hopefully we will be one race eventually and we can all put racism 6 feet under.

I don't think that would be the best way to go about it. Just once race of people? There would be no diversity, kind of creeps me out to think of a world with only one race.

I just wish people could accept someone, other than by the color of their skin.

Another benefit is that, at least in my experience and opinion, racially mixed people are the most beautiful people in the world.

Yes, it would help if parents would train their children to respect people without regarding their race. However, in this (rebellious) day and age, it seems as if peers have much more influence on youth than any adults. And still, you have a innate tendancy to associate with people similar to yourself (Birds of a feather flock together blah blah blah).

Any evidence to back that up? I'm interested.

Sorry, no evidence, just experience. I've often see people do stupid stuff just because their friends do it, and if an authourity figure tells them to do something reasonable, they won't do it.

Steven and Tadpole; I have to agree with you here. I believe a child isn't and cannot be born with racism; he learns it from the people around him. People; I was taught that there is but one race- the human race. White and Black are only skin pigmentations of humans. We are all developed from the same biological process and all need the basic elements to live on Earth. It is the thinking that a certain pigmented group or a certain nationality is superior to others that plants the seed of racism. Our children, in their innocence, play with other children because they are interested in the game being played or the toy or other object of attention at the time. When a parent steps in and forbids their child to play with other children without explanation ( "Because I said so" doesn't count) Soon the child will figure out the there is something different about the other child that Mommy or Daddy doesn't like. That is how racism starts. It only grows from there;each time getting exponentially worse.
