Yeah i agree with that. Progressive actually describes it better.

I'm giggling a bit over A-1.. Bluster and bravado is not nearly as impressive on a debate forum as it can be in real life perhaps..

That's primarily because liberals have given the word liberal such a "bad name" that they no longer want to be called what they are.

So they hide behind a nicer sounding word.

Honestly, I can stand being called a liberal, but "liberal" denotes libertarian in my head. Progressive just means a desire for change, which is essentially what most people's defenition of liberal is.
