The latest telephone poll taken by the office of the Governor of Texas asked whether people who live in Texas think illegal immigration is a serious problem:

35% of respondents answered: "Yes, it is a serious problem."

65% of respondents answered: "No es una problema serio."

On that one, yes, if the government doesn't cooperate then foreign aid is useless, but it's not wasteful under the general concept.

That last part was xenophobic, largely indecipherable, unreadable ranting, so I won't address it. Now when I say political pressure, I mean economic sanctions. Remember, we are the most financially powerful nation on earth. A few restraints in trade, some tariffs, things of that nature, and they'll be on their knees. It's imperialistic, but the ends in this case will justify the means for both of us.

Uhh, no, we're the greatest country in the world because we had a chance to expand once every other global superpower fell into obscurity. And citizens are citizens. Mexico is poor and their system is corrupt. Police brutality and the intimidation of the press is rampant. The government either condones it or doesn't care. I wouldn't blame people for running away, because guaranteed if you were unemployed, broke, and had a government that didn't give two shits about you, you'd run off to find a better life, too.

The moral of the story is that immigrants don't come here out of cowardice. They come to find a better life. Those who cause trouble can be screened out once the number of immigrants is reduced to a manageable size. Period.

I know because bodies have been found at the border with bullet holes in them. I never said there were videos of people doing this, but they've been suspected of these things for years. That and it's vigilantism, plain and simple. Rebellion against oppression is one thing. Taking the law into your own hands is another. They haven't even served their purpose. It's like trying patch a bullet wound with a band aid.
