The problem is also in our system of legal imigration, which is often filled with so much red tape and parameters that relatively few people are able to get through, so many just decide not to waste time and go illegally. A wall is a waste, anyway. Have you seen the tunnels some people dig?

Someone working for 5 bucks an hour to afford a small apartment for 6 people. Can someone pleas get these horrible criminals off the streets.

Well, I don't think that a wall would be effective, but I never considered the way that Mexico would veiw it. I can't say that I have a problem with them having an issue with us keeping out illegals.

What would be your alternative?

Some of them aren't so innocent. It's not all of them. If I had to give a rough estimate, I'd say about .5%

Still, that's why we have screening. Our system is so exclusive that people are forced to bypass screening by bypassing the entire system.

Then why is jumping the border such a big deal? A lot of people don't even bother with them. Not everyone has the time or money for a visa, either.
