Also, it drains resources from citizens. There have been a number of hospitals that have served traveling illegals and had few resources for the citizens in the area because the illegals weren't paying their bills.

Actually, it is. Working illegally usually means you're working "off the books," i.e. without paying taxes. When you do that, you're breaking the law.

That's why if you ever have an illegal working for you pay them in beer. That way you're not breaking the law.

Indeed it is, but both are detrimental to American citizens. Also, the children of these folk are using the schools without their parents paying the school taxes.

There are many other things as well.

I HONESTLY understand why a person would want to come here to make life better, but I can't condone it.

People here seem to be complaining about illegals not paying taxes. What about the economic gain the United States has gained through NAFTA which has had bad effects on Mexican workers.
