I'm against illegal aliens - as are most people. But, we have to be realistic. To simply say "get rid of them" isn't going to solve anything.

The real solution is not put forth by the mainstream media. They give two false choices. One is mass deportations which is very possible as it was done by Eisenhower in the fifties. The other is amnesty which for reasons already covered, cannot be allowed to happen.

The real solution to the illegal immigration problem is called. Attrition Through Law Enforcement. By enforcing our existing laws and closing some loop holes, illegal aliens will leave on their own accord and at their own expense.

The main thrust behind Attrition is to eliminate every magnet that attracts illegal aliens. The three biggest magnets that attract illegal aliens are jobs, social services freebies and amnesty.

Eliminate the jobs by prosecuting illegal employers to the fullest extent. When illegals can't make money they will go home. No big expense necessary.

Eliminate all social services from free education to free health care and that will also encourage them to go home.

You can read all about Attrition through Enforcement here NumbersUSA

The expense to allow what is currently going on is far greater than any expense to correct the problem. Liberalization and or amnesty will triple our current costs associated with illegal immigration.

Here's what I find interesting about those statements...I happen to be married to an immigrant. My husband is from Canada, moved here to the states to be with me as I couldn't/wouldn't move my children to Canada and cause problems within their relationships with their fathers...

My husband wasn't allowed to access any type of aid to reside here. One of the biggest conditions of his living here was that he had to get a social security card, prove he had a legitamite job, and prove he made a specific set income to remain here. He also couldn't accept any form of medical aid, food stamps, or other public assistance. He couldn't even ask for a business loan or accept funds for schooling. IF he wanted access towards medical, school, etc. he had to show proof that he payed for that out of his own pocket or through his job. That also included providing proof through his job that he not only supported himself on those earned funds, but what portions of his earnings were spent towards myself and children as well as his payment towards extras (such as our medical and my children's schooling costs).

Furthermore, even though now he's allowed to live here as a permenant resident, he still can't ask for any form of public assistance for himself of myself if we needed it. Luckily, we don't. But because of his status as an immigrant, it isn't allowable under federal laws of immigration to receive these services if some unforeseeable tragedy occured where neither of us were able to work for a living.

What I can't understand is how are illegal immigrants able to access these services when legitamite immigrants entering the country legally are denied those services because they're immigrants?

First let me say thank you to your husband for immigrating the correct way. Second it appears you and your husband are also victims of two sets of laws. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why our government refuses to make illegal aliens obey our laws while everyone else (except business and politicians) must.

The resentment this causes is enormous.

So...are you saying you'd rather support them than deport them?

What is your plan for finding and deporting them?

This link from Rense.com gives an article by Frosty Wooldridge that backs CTPatriot's argument. I haven't seen this much common sense (CTPatriot's remarks) in a month of Sundays! You can be certain his Blogsite will be added to my favorites!

Eisenhower's plan worked just fine. And you don't want to know what my daughter's plan is for them!
