Did you miss the point or what? Tuberculosis was literally stamped out of the United States! Now....thanks to the idiots politicians who refuse to enforce the laws, these diseases are cropping up again in the U.S. carried in by infected persons who would be screened and not allowed in!

When people come into the U.S. LEGALLY, they are screened for infectious diseases. If they are infected, they aren't allowed in, thereby protecting the citizens of the U.S.

I think you meant to say the smallpox is the only disease that is vaccinated against. There was --note, past tense-- zero incidences. It is now back! Thanks to those who've entered ILLEGALLY.

Note: Americans don't mind emigrants coming here so long as they enter LEGALLY. Comprende?

I believe it's in this very thread. Look for it. (Might have been Katczinsky)

edit: Just combed the thread. It must be in the other one. It's late (early). IF I remember, I'll look for it later.

Just like fighting crime, wouldn't it be more cost effective in the long run to for us to get these countries and their people on their feet?
And haven't we tried time and time again. How many billions of dollars have we spent in foreign aid to Mexico and other Latin American countries. SO because they continue to instill and use the failed socialist policies they have and which causes their country to suffer, we are to pay?????

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

Why are we so willing to spend huge amounts of money to go half way around the globe, and kill people and devastate their country, but so opposed to spending a small amount of money to help our neighbors?
Right let's help everybody but the Americans. you do know that mexico has money enough to care for it's own people..but you can still send your cash to them..
