February 3, 2005 marks the day hevusa (Michael) joined Defending the Truth. It is truly an honor to have Michael a part of this political forum. I thank him for all that he has done in encouraging a friendly debate to help Defending the Truth grow.

The first couple of days, I got myself into some pretty heated debates with hevusa. The forum opened only a few weeks prior to his joining, and I was new to debating politics online. Hevusa considered himself to be politically liberal, and I was a conservative Republican. Great interview. I've always thought Hev would be an interesting guy to meet in person.. but now I'm totally convinced he would be cool to hang out with.

Great interview guys! Great questions and great answers. It helps living in a city that has actually welcome people that smoke weed as normal citizens. That rocks! Lets hope others take thier lead.

Well Hev, the are many things that you and I will probably never agree upon......but I think the one we can is that we each are better off for having the opportunity to challenge one another and expand our own knowledge, for that, thanks.

I look forward to even more debates and disagreements, I hope that you will never take anything personally, I don't. Regardless of everything else, it is nice to meet and interchange with someone who is as passionate in their beliefs as I am in mine.
