Thanks guys. I'm back in Massachusetts for a few weeks. College is a lot of work and then once that is over it's a lot of play, so needless to say I inadvertantly missed DtT for quite some time. It's nice to come back to the quiet home, relax, and start opening up those threads again. Freedom is truly bliss, but I assure you, I'm getting good grades.
But it don't take much to get me by
So just booze me up and get me high

Nice to have you back! I've missed your input.

Glad to hear school is working out.
--- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope ---

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

By the way, my Huskers destroyed your Buffalos, quite a game huh?

I'm sure they did..but I have to tell you that they aren't my Buffalos. They are CU Boulder....I go to Colorado College which is a small, liberal arts school in Colorado Springs...surprise surprise.

aMFl, my Sister, and now my Mom, live in Colorado Springs. I love the place!
I lived there for 2 years and it was really one of the coolest places I've ever been. Garden of the Gods is probably my favorite place on earth. I was into the 4 wheel drive fun and some of the off road stuff up in the mountains is unmatchable! Big Fun!!! Of course it is a city of 350,000 so you do have to watch your back in some neighborhoods but that is a small price to pay for such beauty and incredible surroundings. Manitou Springs is probably the nicest area and it has some very cool shops. I was also impressed with the kindness of most folks there.
Anyway, enjoy your break. Hope you had a great Christmas.

Yeah, you definitely need to watch where you are going as in any other city. Garden of the Gods is really nice....huuuge boulders. Looking up at Pikes Peak and all of the mountains everytime I walk outside of my dorm is nice too. I think the best part of the city is the downtown area that you come up to going south down tejon street.

We go through Colorado Springs every year on our way to California, beautiful place.

The one thing I love about Nebraska is that I never have to lock my car, now that is a plus!
