I wanted to tell you that I was home sick yesterday and caught your segment!! I turned to it because I just decided to make a quilt for my granddaughter, and was hoping to get some tips... there is NO way in HELL I'm going to be able to do anything close to what you've done... your quilts are completely amazing!!

Thanks.. I'm feeling better today. Spent my whole weekend coughing, sneezing and spewing... I'm down to just coughing now!!

Well... it sort of fell into my lap... I had a friend who cleaned out her sewing room and gave me about 25 lbs of fabric scraps.. so I figure what the Hell... I'll make a quilt... I've never attempted it before... so we'll see how it goes... I found a very easy pattern to do, now I just need to find time to get the fabric cut up and see what I've got to work with. Wish me luck!
